Dorothy supports all Gifted and Talented programs within MPS including ALEKS, GT Camps, SENG parent discussion groups, and SpringBoard Math. She has worked with MPS for over thirty years as a middle school teacher, a Math Coach, and presently an Advanced Academics Coach. She holds a GT teacher license as well as a GT coordinator license. Dorothy enjoys having the opportunity to visit schools and work directly with staff members and students. She trains teachers on what giftedness is and helps parents navigate through resources and opportunities for their children.
